Ruriko Yamaki / 八巻ルリ子

Hi everyone!

My name is Ruriko and I run an internet-based educational company in Silicon Valley and in Tokyo (English Vitamin LLC). I've been looking for some interesting international networking groups/places but to my surprise, haven't found any good ones/places yet in Tokyo.(there are lots of them in Silicon Valley)

Therefore, I asked my good friend Yuko to start one with me in Tokyo. Our group is called "Tokyo Networking Society" and we'd like it to be an amicable networking place. We both are Japanese/English bilinguals so if you speak either language, we can communicate with you! I've lived in the United States for a total of 10 years and also spent one year in the Netherlands.

I love my job and work pretty much 24/7. I love to meet people and share ideas and thoughts with them. I also love to cook and clean/organize my home. Yes, my dad raised me to be a perfect Japanese wife and he did a good job.:) But I just didn't become a good housewife: I've turned out to be an entrepreneur too!!

Why don't you come out and meet us sometime?
